Small Groups

Life was meant to be lived with others. Small groups encourage you to fellowship with other believers in a variety of ways: having coffee and reading your Bible, playing games, spending time at the beach or just hanging out.
Please fill out a Connect Card. We would love to help you cultivate a new small group or get you plugged- in to a small group.

Anchor Church has a desire to build beyond the four walls of a church. Small Groups are a crucial part of developing both church family & function. Anchor Church promotes 3 types of Small Groups-

Fellowship | Growth | Service

Fellowship: The purpose of fellowship small groups is to minister to one another through mutual bonding, activities, similar interests, etc. Fellowship groups will not typically include a study or message to follow along with, but will be more of a dedicated time to foster and develop growing relationships and friendships with other members of The Anchor.

Growth: Growth small groups will focus on personal growth and development. These groups are learning or study based and may include bible studies, book study lessons, or spiritual growth lessons as well as a leader responsible for leading the study or discussion.

Service: Service groups are groups that focus on serving others, the church, an organization, community, or a particular need.
